Fremantle Christian College believes that all students, regardless of age, have the right to develop physically, mentally, spiritually and socially, free from any form of abuse or harassment. Student welfare is a priority for the College and bullying is not tolerated under any circumstances.
Due to the advancement of technology and the community acceptance of mobile technology, guidelines need to be put in place to prevent the misuse of this technology during school hours. The College recognizes that mobile phones may be required before or after school times by students.
At times incidents and perceptions will arise that can negatively impact on relationships within the College unless dealt with in a respectful and appropriate manner. Following a clear Complaints and Disputes procedure will minimise anxiety for parents, students and staff alike allowing the College community to uphold the goal of educating with excellence at all times.
We moved our children to Fremantle Christian College after we experienced bullying in our previous school that was not dealt with or acknowledged. Being at FCC has given our children back their confidence, good friendships, and the assurance that they can learn in a safe environment where teachers and even other students are looking out for them.
Coming to school at FCC is super fun, exciting and an enriching experience. As a stay home Mum I had some concerns about leaving my child in the care of someone else. But I could not have asked for a more warm, safe, loving and caring environment for her to grow in to become everything God created her to be.
My son, attended the pre-kindy at FCC when he was 3 and it was one of the best things we did to prepare him for kindy the following year. The staff there are amazing. They have great insight when it comes to dealing with shy kids who might lack a little confidence. They showed great patience and compassion, using innovative ways to bring him out of his shell. Overall, it was a beautiful atmosphere where kids were free to create, play and learn.
When we made the decision to move our young man to Fremantle Christian College, it was an easy choice. We have come to know the staff as dedicated and passionate professionals who foster an environment where learning is expected yet each child is able to do so at their own level. Our young man enjoys the environment where Christian ideals are taught and encouraged, resulting in confidence, high moral standards, and a strong sense of community. We highly recommend FCC to any parent or carer.
Our children have been attending FCC since 2015. The College has grown exponentially since that time, and amidst the growth we’ve seen quality pastoral care and the pursuit of academic excellence remain key areas of focus. FCC staff have been approachable and responsive when we have had queries, and the strong community within the school (including the ‘FCC Dads’ group) has been a gift to our whole family.
We began at FCC in 2018 when we arrived from interstate. We were immediately welcomed by teachers, students and families, many of which are now close friends and feel like family. We know that our children are nurtured, encouraged and loved by all of the teachers and staff, and we love that the foundation of every lesson is GOD.
A confident expectation that God exists and is trustworthy. The evidence of faith in God is peace of mind, inner strength and persevering hope for the future.
