At Fremantle Christian College our extra-curricular programs include a Student Leadership Program, Sports & Physical Education Program, Instrumental Music Program, Choir and Clubs.
Our Primary School has a strong student leadership system. Student Councillor representatives are nominated in Years 4, 5 and 6 and play an important role in representing the voice of the student body. Students elected in Councillor positions meet weekly with either the Head of Primary or Year 6 Classroom Teacher to learning godly principles of leadership and talk about ways to make FCC an even better place.
FCC offers a diverse Physical Education program throughout both Primary and Secondary classes. Students are taught fundamental movements and skills, which are built on year by year, through various sports and outdoor activities, which align with the West Australian Curriculum in the aim to build discipline and resilience. Students are also provided with the opportunity to represent our College in interschool sports such as swimming, basketball, cricket, soccer, netball, athletics and cross country.
These interschool teams train weekly in the lead up to their carnivals and games. Our College holds partnerships with surrounding professional sports clubs and coaches that continue to assist our interschool teams with preparation and training. Our interschool teams have seen recent success in swimming, basketball and cricket carnivals. Fremantle Christian College will continue to provide multiple opportunities for student sporting success.
Instrumental music tuition is offered through independent providers who offer a wide range of musical instrument tuition. These lessons are held during school hours and are arranged between the classroom teacher, the parent or caregiver and the music tutor as to when the student may be released from the classroom for music tutoring. Students are eligible to enter the Instrumental Music Program from Year 1. Please speak to someone in the College Administration Office if you are interested in enrolling your child in the instrumental program.
The Primary School choir has been growing in popularity and numbers since starting in 2013. Students commit themselves to a weekly rehearsal and the choir performs at various events throughout the school year. Choir time is organised by the relevant Music teacher.
Clubs are run by members of the teaching staff during the school term. The numbers are limited, depending on the activity but they have become a popular part of the extra-curricular activities offered by the College. The activities on offer vary widely including team sports like soccer, Lego, Robotics & Coding by Bricks4Kidz, knitting & crochet, pottery and individual sporting skills.
When we made the decision to move our young man to Fremantle Christian College, it was an easy choice. We have come to know the staff as dedicated and passionate professionals who foster an environment where learning is expected yet each child is able to do so at their own level. Our young man enjoys the environment where Christian ideals are taught and encouraged, resulting in confidence, high moral standards, and a strong sense of community. Our daughter started Kindy at Fremantle Christian College in 2024, and she absolutely loves it here. As soon as we arrived at the school, we felt a strong sense of community through friendly, welcoming, and supportive staff and families. The dedicated staff provide a fantastic range of learning opportunities through play, outdoor learning and classroom-based activities. FCC has excellent pastoral care which has allowed our child to flourish in so many ways. We love being a part of the FCC community!
We moved our children to Fremantle Christian College after we experienced bullying in our previous school that was not dealt with or acknowledged. Being at FCC has given our children back their confidence, good friendships, and the assurance that they can learn in a safe environment where teachers and even other students are looking out for them.

Coming to school at FCC is super fun, exciting and an enriching experience. As a stay home Mum I had some concerns about leaving my child in the care of someone else. But I could not have asked for a more warm, safe, loving and caring environment for her to grow in to become everything God created her to be.
Our children have been attending FCC since 2015. The College has grown exponentially since that time, and amidst the growth we’ve seen quality pastoral care and the pursuit of academic excellence remain key areas of focus. FCC staff have been approachable and responsive when we have had queries, and the strong community within the school (including the ‘FCC Dads’ group) has been a gift to our whole family.
We joined FCC a five years ago when we arrived from interstate. We were immediately welcomed by teachers, students and families, many of which are now close friends that fell like family. We know that our children are nurtured, encouraged and loved by all the teachers and staff, and we love that the foundation of every lesson is God.
