Students of Fremantle Christian College are encouraged to participate fully in extra curricular activities. These include leadership development programs, sporting programs and an Instrumental Music Program. Some of these lessons run during school times whilst others are held after school.

Fremantle Christian College has a strong Student Leadership system. There are 2 Student Councillor positions available per year for Years 7 to 11, and four Year 12 Student Executive positions. Student Councillors are representatives of the College and have a responsibility to serve others and to model Christ-like attitudes and behaviour. The Deputy of Christian Culture meet regularly with Student Councillors to identify issues and strategies to improve each year level through impactful student agency and to coach them in Christian leadership understandings. Student Councillors also have the opportunity to plan and carry out fundraisers, social events, community service days and other engaging activities.
Fremantle Christian College is developing its extra-curricular sports program. Secondary students have the opportunity to participate in a limited number of sporting teams and have been privileged to access coaching from a number of professional athletes. As the sports program develops, the opportunities to represent FCC will expand through participation in a range of local competitions.
Instrumental music tuition is offered to Secondary students, through independent providers, offering a wide range of options. Private lessons are held during school hours and a suitable lesson time is arranged by the instrumental teacher in consultation with the classroom teachers and the parent or caregiver.
We moved our children to Fremantle Christian College after we experienced bullying in our previous school that was not dealt with or acknowledged. Being at FCC has given our children back their confidence, good friendships, and the assurance that they can learn in a safe environment where teachers and even other students are looking out for them.
Coming to school at FCC is super fun, exciting and an enriching experience. As a stay home Mum I had some concerns about leaving my child in the care of someone else. But I could not have asked for a more warm, safe, loving and caring environment for her to grow in to become everything God created her to be.
Our children have been attending FCC since 2015. The College has grown exponentially since that time, and amidst the growth we’ve seen quality pastoral care and the pursuit of academic excellence remain key areas of focus. FCC staff have been approachable and responsive when we have had queries, and the strong community within the school (including the ‘FCC Dads’ group) has been a gift to our whole family.
When we made the decision to move our young man to Fremantle Christian College, it was an easy choice. We have come to know the staff as dedicated and passionate professionals who foster an environment where learning is expected yet each child is able to do so at their own level. Our young man enjoys the environment where Christian ideals are taught and encouraged, resulting in confidence, high moral standards, and a strong sense of community. We joined FCC a five years ago when we arrived from interstate. We were immediately welcomed by teachers, students and families, many of which are now close friends that fell like family. We know that our children are nurtured, encouraged and loved by all the teachers and staff, and we love that the foundation of every lesson is God.
Our daughter started Kindy at Fremantle Christian College in 2024, and she absolutely loves it here. As soon as we arrived at the school, we felt a strong sense of community through friendly, welcoming, and supportive staff and families. The dedicated staff provide a fantastic range of learning opportunities through play, outdoor learning and classroom-based activities. FCC has excellent pastoral care which has allowed our child to flourish in so many ways. We love being a part of the FCC community!
