Uniform

More than simply a matter of school pride, wearing the correctuniformis an important part of building discipline and preparing students for life beyond school. Just as most workplaces have dress codes and expectations, wearing theuniformwell helps to foster habits of respect, responsibility, and readiness for the future. It also strengthens a sense of belonging, promotes equity among students, and minimises distractions so that learning can remain our shared focus. 

Our uniforms can be purchased online or in store from Uniform Concepts Jandakot Superstore (Nell Gray).

Pre-Kindy

Pre-Kindy children are not required to wear the College uniform, however are encouraged to buy the FCC Hat.

Kindergarten Uniform

  • Shirt: Kindergarten students must wear the formal College shirt (rust).  
  • Shorts: Kindergarten students have the option of wearing either formal shorts or sports shorts, to aide in toileting. 
  • Shoes: black sneakers. 
  • House Uniform: Sports shorts and House polo, to be worn on Sports Days (once a week). 

Primary Uniform

Regular Uniform

  • GIRLS’ SKIRT LENGTH | Skirts should be fitted so that they are knee-length, as per the uniform policy.
  • SHORTS | College Cargo shirts. In Kindergarten, students are permitted to
    wear the sports shorts to assist with toileting. Pre-Primary students must wear
    cargo shorts.
  • SHOES | Black school shoes (canvas shoes are not permitted)
  • SOCKS | White Sports Socks
  • In Winter, tights may be added to the uniform for extra warmth.

Secondary Uniform

All students who attend the College are required to wear the correct uniform in a neat, clean and well presented manner. A positive attitude to wearing the College uniform is a credit to both the student and the College. Important information about uniform requirements and ordering uniform can be found here:

Secondary School Uniform Secondary students are required to wear the summer uniform in terms 1 and 4 and the winter uniform in terms 2 and 3.

Sport uniform is only to be worn at appropriately designated times, which will be clearly communicated from time to time. If the weather is cold, Secondary students may wear beanies or scarves and knitted gloves or mittens, provided they conform to the following:

They must be dark blue or taupe, as per uniform colours – very close matches must be adhered to.

They must be of simple design, not including ‘sparkly adornments’ or significantly raised patterning. 

If a student is not wearing the correct uniform an infringement will be given. A note will be sent home notifying the parent or guardian of the nature of the infringement and requesting a commitment to address the infringement.
