Welcome to FCC

Welcome from the Principal

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a family. Research has shown that what parents look for first, when choosing a school for their children, is that their children will attend a school where they are safe and feel loved and cared for.  Of course, as parents, we also want to know that our children will attend a school that will have the very best possible opportunities to reach their full potential academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

At Fremantle Christian College we partner with parents to provide a transformational journey that will equip your child for a successful and fulfilling life. We are dedicated to bringing hope and purpose through a Christ-centred culture and an excellent education program.

We invite families to enjoy the opportunities our community has to offer and to benefit from the support of our expert staff, an engaging curriculum and our quality pastoral care program.

We are committed to educating the whole-person as each student strives to excel academically and we value the development of Faith, Character and Courage in every student.

Fremantle Christian College has been serving students and their families in the Cockburn and Fremantle areas for 25 years. The College has maintained a good standing within the surrounding community and offers something special in preparing children for life and encouraging them to become the best that they can be.

We invite you to visit us and experience our College. We would love to partner with you in bringing hope and purpose to your family through Christian education.

Please contact the College for more information and a tour of the campus.

Our History

Fremantle Christian College has a long and rich history. In 1903, Hamilton Hill Primary School was opened to ease the pressure of numbers on Coogee Primary School. The original classrooms built in 1903 remain on the site and have been heritage listed by the Cockburn Council.

When the old Hamilton Hill School closed, the site was occupied in 1989 by Southern Christian Academy, which changed its name to Calvary Christian College in 1993. In 2003 the College was adopted by New Life Christian Community, a vibrant and growing church in Fremantle, and re-named New Life Christian College.

Early in 2014 the Board, in keeping with their belief that the College would eventually have a significant regional impact, re-branded the school and changed its name to Fremantle Christian College. An application to extend the year levels of the College was submitted shortly after and approval was granted by the Minister for Education in August 2014.

The future of Fremantle Christian College is exciting and expansive. Plans to extend the existing campus are well underway as we continue to grow into a fully single streamed primary school and add a double streamed secondary school that will serve the growing population in the surrounding region.

What parents are saying...

Our Mission

A confident expectation that God exists and is trustworthy. The evidence of faith in God is peace of mind, inner strength and persevering hope for the future.

The distinctive moral attributes of a person that determine their choices regardless of the circumstances. Christian character is the consistent manifestation of the character of Jesus Christ when no one is watching.

Courage is the commitment to do what is right and continue in that commitment in the face of opposition.
